"Flying is an art...The Caribbean is our canvas!" Margarita Air Club History The Margarita Air Club was established on April 9, 2003 by Todd Lucas based upon an article in Computer Pilot Magazine by Francois 'Navman' Dumas about the idea of the virtual flying club. After searching through some of the sites that were established at the time, I thought that they were a bit too far north for my tastes. Having always had a love for the Caribbean, I thought this would be the natural home for my new club. After posting a few lines in a forum to see what level of interest there would be, it became clear that this idea was one who's time had come. So Margarita Air Club was born with the core philosophy that flying on the simulator should be FUN, not a chore. That is why you will never see a requirement for minimum hours in order to fly with us. We all get enough stress in real life, so why impose it on our leisure time? If you agree with this philosophy, then perhaps we are the club for you.
